My Father wrote a love letter to me.
He signed it in blood on Calvary.
Hand delivered by His only Son,
He sent a message to me of His unfailing love.
“I chose you for my family.
Before time began, I knew who you would be.
I love you so much, I couldn’t leave you alone.
I sent my Son to be the way you can come home.
My love for you has no limits.
My love for you has no end,
No matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been.
I’ll do whatever it takes to show you,
No one can love you like Me.
My love never fails,
That’s why Jesus took the nails.
I sent Jesus to suffer and die.
I raised Him to life to sit at My right side.
He took your place. He died for your sin.
Believe in Him now, and new life will begin.
Jesus gave up His life on that tree.
It was the only way you could come home to Me.
No Roman nail could ever hold Him down.
It was His love for you that made Him take that thorny crown.
My love for you has no limits.
